It can be hard to visualise how our woods will look in Summer on a dreary day in February. I walk around the woodland with brides and grooms, armed with photos and endless enthusiasm. Gesturing and pointing to things that ‘will be there’. The beech trees and low light are beautiful in the ancient beech woodland but one still has to use a little imagination to picture the splendour of the tents and ceremony area. With that in mind, and having got to the bottom of my pile of paperwork (for today at least) I started to have a scribble using Lila’s pencils (shhh).
I’m no Picasso but at least you can get an idea of the proportions of the event space, and how the different elements sit within it.
Welcome to Lila’s wood!
