FAQs

Yes, we offer exclusive use of the site. Our nearest neighbours are some distance away and the venue is on a private farm track. There is no public access across the woodland.

Your wedding guests will be able to drive right into our paddock to park their vehicles. Suppliers and disabled guests are able to drive into the wood using a farm track that runs along the right hand edge of the paddock.

We love hounds! If the bride and groom are happy for canines to attend then we welcome your fluffy friends. Please just make sure that they stick to the paths  and that you pick up after them.

All pathways where guests are permitted are wood chipped and free draining. The area where the tent sits is also wood chipped, firm and dry. Wellies shouldn’t be required! No Glastonbury here.

Yes, but it absolutely must be collected by midday.

Please do not use suppliers from out of the area, they will find it difficult to find us at night and risk upsetting our neighbours. Please also ensure that you book a taxi prior to the event. Local taxi companies can become busy if there is more than one wedding in the local area.

Yes, we supply maps to clients, and we will put out signs on the day.  PLEASE DO NOT USE SAT NAV ONCE YOU COME OUT OF TRING

We are an open air venue with a long term future plan. Council restrictions, and courtesy to our neighbours dictates that music must be inaudible by 11pm. We never allow music after 11pm and ask that guests are safely off site, or in their tents after midnight. We like to have fun but if you’re looking for a crazy all night party venue with fireworks this isn’t the place for you!

Afraid not. We can only use our paddock for wedding activities 28 days per year which means that each wedding is only designated 48 hours and camping is for one night only. Access is from 8am on the day of the wedding and guests must vacate at midnight, unless camping.

Camping provides a fun extension of the wedding day. We have sheep and horses on site and beautiful farm views. Guests have regularly had ‘welly wanging’ championships, and rounders games in the paddock on a Sunday morning. This make for a wonderfully leisurely end to the event. We just ask that guests leave by midday so that our staff can go home. (Often we are there later in the afternoon taking down the weddings and can accommodate a later check out time)

At present we cannot designate a set up day prior to the wedding day itself but we’ll let you know if this changes. Because we are not on site permanently we cannot have suppliers deliver things to us aside from on the wedding day.

We are however happy for the bride and groom/family to bring things to our home (only 4 miles away) the day before. (I.E Wine for chilling)
